At Classic Car Liquidators, we deal with a lot of Chevelles, but sometimes there’s one that stands out from the rest. With a fuel-injected, big-block V8, Detroit Speed suspension and Wilwood disc brakes, this ’72 is as good to drive as it is to look at!
This ’72 Chevelle was bought by the former owner as a clean SS big block car, but wanted more. He started off rebuilding the original 402 cubic-inch big-block and putting a more aggressive camshaft. While he was at it, he purchased Edelbrock’s E-street throttle-body EFI to improve on efficiency and power.
Next up he made a call to Detroit Speed and purchased their Speed Kit for the Chevelle. This included a front sway bar, coil springs, and Koni shocks. While they were installing this, they replaced many of the steering components and bushings. Needless to say this Chevelle drives better than new. For stopping power, it got a set of 12″ drilled & slotted rotors with 4-piston calipers all around. To show off these nice brakes, he threw a set of Modulare Forged 20-inch mesh wheels on it to give it a KILLER look. This car is a blast to cruise down the road. She won’t last long!
