About Gearhead Next Door Garage
Gearhead Next Door Garage is a one-stop shop for everything on your classic vehicle. Our sales branch, Classic Car Liquidators, can find you your dream car and then we can build it to your specs at Gearhead Next Door Garage. Our goal is to sell and build cars that people can drive and enjoy. We have a phrase that runs deep around here, “Built To Drive.”
Classic Car Liquidators has been selling classics for over a decade. Our owners purchased the business in 2016. The local need for honest, quality shops became apparent, so we decided to open Gearhead Next Door Garage. Our aim is always to make sure our customers drive off the lot with a smile on their face.
We do everything from installing EFI, Vintage Air, disc brakes or aftermarket suspension to building them from the ground up. We have a highly-skilled crew with immense attention to detail and countless skills to get your dream car on the road. If you need anything from a floor pan patched to a new custom chassis, we can do it.
We don’t only talk the talk, we walk the walk as well. Our owner and employees often go on cross-country cruises with their cars to put them to the test. We don’t just build cars, we live the classic car lifestyle. We don’t only cruise and show cars though, we race them on some of the most prestigious racetracks in the U.S. We’re the Autocross sponsor for Optima’s Search for the Ultimate Street Car and our owners both have autocross & road course cars of their own that drive on the street. We know that we can make you a car ready to cruise and abuse because we do it ourselves.

BUILD - MODIFY - MAINTAIN
While we'd like to build every car from the ground up with new electrical, fresh mechanical components, etc., that isn't always the answer for every car. Whether you need some small maintenance or troubleshooting on your AC system or want to add an entirely new AC system to your car, we can do it.
At Gearhead Next Door Garage, we have a full fab team, a paint and body team, techs of varying experience and we’re ready to tackle your project. The only thing we sub out is upholstery. We have local upholstery shops who do a great job for anything from small to big projects. If you want to add A/C to your car, disc brakes, EFI, or put it on a custom chassis with a 1,000hp LS, give us a call. We do it all.
At the start of a project, we try to establish the goal and work from there. Some people, the end result is the most important thing and with others, the budget spent along the way is the most important thing.
